Request data deletion

Camera Metadata Border does not require an account and does not upload your photos to developer servers. This page explains how to delete local data and request deletion from third-party services used for purchases and ads.

Delete local app data

Delete Camera Metadata Border from your device to remove local preferences, cached entitlement state, and locally stored app data. Photos you exported or shared are files you created on your device and can be deleted from your photo library by you.

Request purchase data deletion

Purchases are handled by Apple App Store, Google Play, and RevenueCat. To request deletion of purchase or entitlement data connected to Camera Metadata Border, email support@camerametadata.com with the subject "Camera Metadata Border data deletion" and include the store platform you used. We will process applicable RevenueCat deletion requests from the RevenueCat dashboard or API.

Some transaction records may be retained by Apple, Google, RevenueCat, or the developer where required for fraud prevention, tax, accounting, dispute handling, or legal compliance.

Ads and advertising data

Free-tier ads are served by Start.io. Start.io may process advertising identifiers, approximate location signals, device information, ad interactions, installed-app signals where permitted and applicable, and SDK diagnostics according to its policy. Use Start.io's privacy policy and opt-out tools for rights requests related to advertising data processed by Start.io.
