Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Camera Metadata Border handles photos, metadata, purchases, ads, and support contact.
Developer and contact
Camera Metadata Border is developed by v08. For privacy questions or support requests, contact support@camerametadata.com.
What the app collects
The developer does not require an account and does not run a developer server for your photos or metadata. Camera Metadata Border may access the following information only as needed to provide app features:
- Photo library access: You choose photos from your device so the app can read image metadata and render exports. Photos are processed on-device only and are not uploaded by the developer.
- Purchase status: RevenueCat is used to validate subscription status and restore purchases for Pro features.
- Advertising and diagnostics data: Start.io may process advertising identifiers, IP address or approximate location signals, device information, ad interactions, installed-app signals where permitted and applicable, and SDK diagnostic or crash information for ads shown in the free tier.
Photos and metadata
Your photos stay on your device unless you choose to export or share them using your device's normal sharing tools. The developer does not store, transmit, or inspect your photo library. Exported images are saved to your device when you choose to save them.
GPS data
Camera Metadata Border includes GPS privacy controls. GPS data is stripped from exports by default unless you choose a different setting. GPS metadata is never sent to developer servers.
Third-party SDKs
The app uses third-party services for subscriptions and advertising. Their privacy policies apply to the information they process:
- RevenueCat Privacy Policy - subscription validation and purchase status.
- Start.io End User Privacy Policy - advertising data, approximate location signals, diagnostics, and ad delivery for free-tier ads.
No account
Camera Metadata Border does not create a developer account for you. The app stores local preferences on your device, such as frame choices and export settings.
Data retention
Data controlled by the developer is local to your device. Delete the app to remove local app preferences and locally stored app data. Purchases and subscriptions are managed by Apple App Store, Google Play, and RevenueCat according to their own policies.
GDPR and CCPA
The developer does not collect personal data through a developer account or developer server. If you make a purchase or view ads, third-party SDK policies apply. Contact support@camerametadata.com for privacy requests related to the app. Purchase-related deletion requests can be handled in RevenueCat, and Start.io privacy choices are available through Start.io's policy and opt-out tools. Detailed deletion steps are available on the delete data page.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when app features, SDKs, or legal requirements change. The latest version will be posted on this page with the updated date.
